Dunedin Rentals is all about property, at the right price

About Dunedin Rentals

Dunedin Rentals was founded by Hayden, a licensed real estate professional since 2010 with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago (double major in Marketing and Management).

Having managed a property management business with over 375 properties, and personally transacted millions of dollars in real estate, Hayden saw a clear gap in the market:

Too many property managers manage houses - not investments.

Dunedin Rentals was built to change that.

We operate as a family business, with Hayden, Rachel, and Cordelia delivering a hands-on, relationship-first approach, while never losing sight of what matters most:

👉 Performance, return, and long-term wealth creation

What Makes Us Different

Most property managers focus on:

  • Collecting rent
  • Completing inspections
  • Handling maintenance

We focus on something far more important:

Growing your wealth through property

The one thing that makes us better than any other manager in Dunedin:

We think like investors, not administrators.

Every decision we make is filtered through:

  • “Does this improve return?”
  • “Does this protect long-term value?”
  • “Does this help grow the portfolio?”

Because we invest ourselves, we understand:

  • The impact of vacancy
  • The cost of poor tenants
  • The importance of rent optimisation
  • How small decisions affect long-term equity
